Bournemouth show interest in Arsenal striker
Arsenal may soon have to discuss with Bournemouth for a deal for their striker Eddie Nketiah.
This comes after recent report claimed Bournemouth are interested in signing Nketiah this summer.
The 25-year-old was previously linked with transfer to Marseille this summer after he struggled to get regular playing time last season under manager Mikel Arteta.
However, Marseille were not ready to pay the Gunners’ reported £30m asking price and have now turned their attention on signing Lens attacker Elye Wahi.
With a move to the French Ligue 1 now unlikely to happen, Nketiah could complete a transfer to another Premier League club before the transfer window shuts on August 30.
A report via The Standard revealed Bournemouth have showed an interest in Nketiah and have added the Arsenal star to their shortlist of striker targets.
Aside from Bournemouth, Crystal Palace were previously said to be interested in Nketiah and it remains to be seen if they will make an effort to sign him before the transfer deadline.
Meanwhile, Arsenal will return to action this weekend in the Premier League where they will face Wolves in their opening game at Emirates Stadium this weekend.
