Arsenal has been handed a double injury boost ahead of their UEFA Champions League round of 16 first-leg tie with Porto on Wednesday night.

This comes as the Gunners midfielders Thomas Partey and Fabio Vieira returned to first-team training ahead of the Porto clash.

Partey has been unavailable for the Gunners in 23 games due to a thigh problem.

The Ghana star also missed his country’s 2023 AFCON games in Ivory Coast.

He last played for the Gunners as a substitute in their 1-0 victory over Premier League champions Manchester City last October

A report via Football London disclosed that Vieira, who has been working his way back from a groin problem, was also in attendance at the open training session at London Colney.

Vieira has been out with the injury since last November.

It is unlikely that any of the two players will start for the Gunners tonight.
