Why Pogba’s transfer is inevitable
Man Utd need to start searching for a new midfielder ahead of the January transfer window as football pundit, Phil Neville has said Paul Pogba’s transfer is inevitable.
This comes after the French midfielder’s agent Mino Raiola dropped a bombshell on Monday as he stated that Pogba was not happy at Old Trafford and will seek game time else.
Pogba has been linked with a return to Juventus while the Old Ladies are yet to show interest to sign him back.
Pogba unhappy at Man Utd, could leave in January – Agent
Neville believes it would be best for Man Utd to let Pogba leave as he is truly not happy because he is not playing to his full potential.
“The agent’s comments, to me, were pre-planned, pre-rehearsed – knowing when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was doing his press conference, knowing exactly the right words to use,” Neville told BBC Radio 5 Live.
He added that when he read the comments he wasn’t surprised as it wasn’t a bombshell.
“Paul is not happy, he doesn’t look happy, he’s not playing to his full potential and hasn’t been for a long time,” Neville said.
He stressed that the inevitable is going to happen because Pogba has to leave United.
Neville disclosed that Man Utd need to get rid of players like Pogba, who don’t want to be at Old Trafford.
