Manchester United could see their star player, Jesse Lingard leave the club in the January transfer window.

Lingard has been linked with moves away from Old Trafford for some while now as he seems to be tired of the lack of game time under coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

So far this season, the 27-year-old has made only two EFL appearances for Man Utd while he continues to be named in their Premier League and Champions League squad.

A latest report has linked Lingard with moves to Spanish side, Real Sociedad.

The report hinted that Lingard’s representatives are exploring loan options for the Manchester United midfielder in January and they are already in talks with the Spanish side.

Lingard’s contract with Man Utd runs out in the summer and so far there are no sign yet that it would be extended.

Aside from Real Sociedad, the reports disclosed that Lingard’s agents are also in talks with other clubs in England and Europe.

Man Utd will likely agree to a loan transfer for the player as it would be better for him to get play time elsewhere than remain on the bench at Old Trafford.

We will have to wait till January to see how it will turnout.
