Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay will likely remain at Old Trafford for another season.

This comes as the Red Devils boss, Erik ten Hag, has refused grant McTominay permission to leave the club this summer transfer window.

So far, the midfielder has been linked with a transfer away from Old Trafford wit the likes of West Ham, Galatasaray, Tottenham and Fulham reportedly interested in signing him as their new player.

But Ten Hag is standing his ground on the transfer as he doesn’t want the Scotland star to leave Old Trafford.

According to Ten Hag, McTominay is important to his squad.

Ten Hag when asked about McTominay’s future as quoted by Sky Sports said Man Utd have several good players who would always attract interest from other clubs.

He stated that a player like McTominay who scored 10 goals in a season and also perform for Scotland will be get interests from several clubs.

The Red Devils boss, however, added that they want to keep him because he is a very important player for their squad.
