Ten Hag has not learned – Man Utd boss slammed over transfer policy at Old Trafford

Former Juventus player Paolo Di Canio has hit out at Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, over the transfer policy he is implementing at the club.

Canio stated that Ten Hag who has been at Old Trafford for two years now, has not learned anything’ from the transfers approved by him in the past two years.

Recall that Manchester United signed five new players in the recent summer transfer window, costing them a whopping combined sum of approximately £180 million.

With Ten Hag’s approval, Man Utd signed Leny Yoro from French side Lille, Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui from German club Bayern Munich, Manuel Ugarte from French Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain and forward Joshua Zirkzee from Italian Serial A Bologna.

However, the millings spent on the new players, Man Utd have continue to struggle to impress.

Di Canio while speaking about Ten Hag’s transfer policy via Football365 said the truth is that the Dutchman doesn’t like British players, and doesn’t want to buy any.

Meanwhile, there are already growing calls for Ten Hag’s sack from Man Utd’s fans especially after the embarrassing defeat to Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford last weeknd.

Another defeat to Porto when they meet during the week in the Europa League could put Ten Hag under more pressure.
