Man Utd star and Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo has threatened to leave the club if they fail to up their game under new manager Erik ten Hag.

The report claimed the Portuguese want to depart Man Utd this summer as he believes the club is lagging behind in the summer window in terms of bolstering the team.

As of now, Man Utd are yet to complete a major signing this summer even after they have seen some of their key players leave.

Ronaldo is said to be ‘losing faith’ that the team can win any trophy in the upcoming season.

The Portuguese, who was excited by a fresh start Ten Hag is no longer certain of their ability to win big next season as he believes they don’t have what it takes.

As of now, Man Utd have been linked with multiple top targets, including Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong, Antony, Julien Timber, Lisandro Martinez, amongst others from Ajax Ajax but so far no agreement has been reached with any of them.

However, the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City have signed new players this summer as they prepare for the new season.
