Manchester United Vs Tottenham: Possible prediction

Former Arsenal star, Ian Wright has shared his prediction about who would emerged as the winner of this weekend’s Premier League clash between Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

The Red Devils will returned to action on Sunday at Old Trafford when they host Spurs as both teams look to climb up the Premier League table after an inconsistent start.

So far, the duo of Man United and Tottenham have earned seven points after five league games, putting them at 11th and 10th spots, respectively, in the table.

Tottenham head to the game after beating Brentford 3-1 in their last league outing and defeated Qarabag 3-0 in the Europa League on Thursday night.

It has been a different scenario for Manchester United, who played out a 1-1 draw with FC Twente in their UEFA Europa League opened. They were also held to a 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

However, despite this, Wright feels that Erik ten Hag’s squad would beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Speaking via Stick to Football podcast, Wright said he thinks Man United will beat them.

Tottenham will be hoping to maintain their back to back win by defeating the Red Devils at their home stadium this weekend.
