Manchester United midfielder reveals his ambition for next season under Solskjaer
As Manchester United continue their preparation for next season, one player has caught the eye of fans and pundits with his performance at pre-season match.
Andreas Pereira has been showing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that he deserves a place in the United squad this season with his performance
The youngster scored a wonderful goal against Brentford and during an interview with TNT Sports he was asked about what he wants for his career.
Speaking at the interview, Pereira stated that he’s ready to play as he’s not a boy anymore.
He insisted on being a man ready to take responsibility, noting that with playing time and continuity as a starter in his position, he can show what he has done on base.
Pereira stated that he can score more goals and give assists as a player of his position needs the confidence to play and the freedom to be bold on the field.
When asked about his future at Manchester United, he stated that in Manchester or elsewhere, the time has come to play, to have at least an hour per game on the field, to have the confidence to play because he want to be happy, to feel important.
Pereira spent last season on loan at Lazio as he has failed to secure a place at Manchester United where he only scored one goal in 25 appearances during the 2019-20 season.
