Manchester United defender vows to play through pain so as to boost Red Devil’s title chance

Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof has vowed to keep playing through pains so as to help the Manchester side maintain their title push.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have been able to put their disappointing spell at the Champions League behind them by making a big statement in the Premier League.

Draw against neighbours Manchester City and win at Sheffield United on Thursday night gave United the boost needed for the season but they showed how determined they are when they played Leeds United.

Solskjaer’s side produce an eye-catching 6-2 win against bitter rivals Leeds and the victory have seen them side up to third in the Premier League, five points behind from leaders Liverpool.

Lindelof who was among the goal scorer has now pledged to continue helping the club even if it means playing through injuries.

The experience defender who has formed a great partnership with Harry Maguire noted that it’s been tough as he’s struggling a back pain over the past couple of months, so it’s very important for him to do the treatment and recovery right.

Still on the injury, Lindelof stated that against Sheffield, he got a bad knock on his knee so he was 50-50 for the game against Leeds but managed to go out there and play even though the pain.

The pain was worth it as United put in a dominance performance that saw Lindelof ending up on the score sheet.
