Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has insisted that his team confidence has taken a knock after their recent performance.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his players have been in a good form ever since the season started but things have not been going their way for the past few weeks.

United were stunned by Everton some days ago as Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s late goal ensured that the match ended in a thrilling draw.

The draw means Manchester United are now behind their rival Manchester City in the title race and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes his player confidence has taken a big knock.

Speaking ahead of Manchester United’s FA Cup fifth-round game against West Ham, the draw against Everton was a hard knock to take of course especially when you concede goals at the end like this.

However, Solskjaer noted that they’ve also won games at the end so many times themselves, so it can’t go down in the cellar.

He added that the team just have to get over it as quickly as you can because the performance apart from the last two minutes and especially the four minutes when Everton scored two goals at the beginning of the second half was very good, however, the rest of it was very good.
