Man Utd told to pick former player as Ten Hag’s replacement

Manchester United are in the race to sign a new manager to replace underperforming manager Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils and Ten Hag have had it tough this season as they are seated out the top ten on the Premise League log.

Man Utd’s recent poor performance saw the club’s hierarchy having a meeting where they failed to reach an agreement on Ten Hag.

However, former Everton chairman, Keith Wyness, has sent a message to Manchester United to pick their former player Michael Carrick as their new manager to succeed Ten Hag.

According to Wyness and Carrick, who was Man United’s caretaker in the past, is a good manager.

Wyness also noted various rumours about Man Utd’s options as Ten Hag’s replacementm

The former footaball star noted that Thomas Tuchel or Michael Carrick have more of a managerial coach type situation rather than a Tuchel-type bigger name.

“I think they might go for the second route and try and get the Man United ethos back to what it was before with an ex-player like Carrick managing the squad,” he said.

Meanwhile, Ten Hag and Man Utd are focus on their next game against Brentford as they hope pick up three points.
