Former Manchester United star, Gary Neville has singled out one of the club’s transfer which he believe shouldn’t have happened.

Neville in a recent statement said that the Red Devils should never have sold Danny Welbeck.

The Red Devils legend noted that Welbeck as of now is in a better form than all of Man United’s attackers.

Recall that Welbeck during his time at Old Trafford made 142 appearances for the Red Devils after going through the club’s academy.

The English forward was a part of the last Man United team to win the Premier League title under legendary coach Sir Alex Ferguson.

Welbeck, however, chose to leave Man United in 2014 after growing frustrated with his limited game time.

He went on to sign a deal with Arsenal worth £16 million.

According to Neville, Welbeck is in better form than any of Man United front players, by far.

Neville on Skysport’s Stick To Football while speaking with former teammate Roy Keane said Welbeck, to be fair, should never have been allowed go at United.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils will be back to action next weekend after the two weeks international break.

They will hope to return with a win against Brentford.
