Man Utd has no captain – Wayne Rooney
Former Manchester United star Wayne Rooney has once against reacted to the Red Devils’ poor form as he suggested that the club currently has no captain.
Rooney quizzled the current crop of players at Old Trafford as the club’s struggles this campaign continue.
So far in seven Premier League games this season, the Red Devils have managed to win just two.
This has placed them at the second half of the table as the Red Devils are currently at 14th spot on the Premier League log with three losses during that period.
The same poor form applies to the Europa League, where the Red Devils have played twice and drawn both matches, leaving them with two points.
Rooney while speaking about Ten Hag’s side’s struggles this season on The Overlap pointed out that Manchester United past teams unlike the current squad with one captain, have five or six captains in every team.
He added that pressure on Manchester United is never going to stop, and that’s down to the players’ mindset.
“You see it in the news; it’s constant on Manchester United. I don’t think the players can deal with it. That’s the issue,” he said.
Meanwhile Burno Fernandes is the Red Devils current caption after he replaced Harry Maguire.
