Man Utd tipped to defeat Watford but …

Man Utd will make a short trip to Vicarage road this weekend to face Watford in the first game after the international break.

The Red Devils, who are currently struggling, will hope to win all three points vs Watford.

Man Utd are seated at the 6th spot on the EPL and have witnessed some shameful defeats this season, especially Man City and Liverpool.

Ahead of their faceoff with Watford, former Arsenal star Paul Merson has predicted the possible outcome of the match.

Merson predicted the Red Devils to defeat Watford, but he stressed that they might not have it easy against Villarreal in the Uefa Champions League.

Commenting on the Watford vs Man United match, Merson told Sportskeeda, “They will beat Watford and move on, but will they beat Villarreal? I don’t think so. Even a draw guarantees them qualification, but they aren’t going to win the UEFA Champions League, are they?

“I think Manchester United will win here and rather comfortably. That said, I predict it to be a harder game than what was the case against Tottenham Hotspur, believe it or not. Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani have done well together upfront and could once again be chosen to lead the line by Solskjaer. Watford 1-3 Manchester United.”
