Man Utd, Newcastle in hot race for Sesko

RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesko has emerged as one of the wanted players in the summer transfer window, with recent reports linking him to Manchester United and Newcastle.

Sesko was tipped to join Arsenal ahead of next campaign, but the arrival of  Viktor Gyokeres at Emirates Stadium has ruled out the Gunners’ interest in him.

After Alexander Isak expressed his desire to leave the Magpies this summer, the club are now in the market for a new striker as his replacement.

Newcastle United have already lost their bid to sign Hugo Ekitike, who opted for Liverpool.

The are also leading the race to sign Isak from Newcastle this summer.

In the case of Man United, manager Ruben Amorim is determined to bolster his attack signing Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha as his double 10s.

Sesko is expected to decide on his future in the coming days and he is said to be open to moving to playing in the English Premier League.

Will have to wait to see which of the clubs between Man Utd and Newcastle will finally complete a move for the football star before the summer window closes.
