Manchester United have made some new changes to their shirt numbers as recent report disclosed that the Red Devils striker Rasmus Hojlund will now get a new shirt number for the 2024-2025 season.

Recall that Hojlund spotted the No. 11 shirt during his debut season at Old Trafford.

However, a new report via the United Stand, the Denmark star will now take the No. 9 jersey, which was previously worn by Anthony Martial last season.

This comes after Martial exited the club after his contract expired.

With this latest update, Hojlund will now follow in the footsteps of Man United legends like Sir Bobby Charlton, Andy Cole, Dimitar Berbatov and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who have all worn the No. 9 shirt.

With Hojlund being handed a new number, the Red Devils newest signing, Joshua Zirkzee, is expected to take over the No. 11 shirt.

He had previously worn 9, 10 and 11 while playing for the Dutch youth teams.

Meanwhile, Man Utd continue to brace for another season under their manager Erik ten Hag as they have been linked with new players to bolster their squad.
