Erik ten Hag warns Rashford ahead of game Vs Crystal Palace
Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag, has issued warning to Marcus Rashford on getting his life right as he is on his way back to form.
Recall that Rashford suffered an alarming dip last season, scoring only eight goals in all competitions for the Red Devils.
Rashford’s poor form was part of the reasons he was left out of England’s Euro 2024 squad by former manager Gareth Southgate.
The English forward was also fined two weeks’ wages worth £650,000 by Man United after he spotted partying in a nightclub the night before missing a training session.
Speaking in a pre-match statement, Ten Hag said Rashford has also experienced, and knows when there are setbacks, how to get fightback, how to set his career, his performance.
“He took control of it and I think he is on the way back,” Ten Hag said.
According to Ten Hag, Rashford has to return to form by himself.
The manager stressed that when the England international sets his professionalism he will perform because he is a class player.
Meanwhile, it is yet to be known if Man Utd’s boss Ten Hag will start Rashford against Crystal Palace when they meet this weekend.
