Cavani talks about ‘faith’ in the team as EPL return this weekend
Manchester United will return to action this weekend as the English Premier League return after a short international break.
The report from Old Trafford revealed that the Red Devils manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also arrived at the club on Tuesday after taking a week break.
Man Utd will be facing Watford this weekend after the hard challenges they faced before the International break.
Solskjaer continues to remain under pressure and could lose his job at Man Utd if the game against Watford ends otherwise.
Ahead of the match this weekend, Man Utd striker and Uruguay international Edison Cavani has urged fans to have faith in the club.
Speaking in an interview with via ManUtd.com, Cavani said: “The message to the fans would be…We touched on and talked a bit about faith. It would be to have faith in their team and to have faith in their players, who, without a doubt, will be trying hard to perform well and to keep growing and improving.
“So that the faith that they’ve shown us, we might be able to pay it back with good results, hard work and by winning.”
The Red Devils will hope to bounce back this weekend.
