Amorim names player who is important at Man Utd
Manchester United new manager, Ruben Amorim has reacted to his side recent outing in the Premier League.
Amorim in a statement singled out Noussair Mazraoui for praise after his performance against Ipswich Town over the weekend.
According to Amorim, the Morocco star is a key player for Man United and can play anywhere on the pitch.
Recall that Mazraoui was in action in 90 minutes as Man United were held to a 1-1 draw at Ipswich.
Highlight from the match showed Mazraoui who joined the Red Devils from Bayern Munich was one of the standout players for the Red Devils against Ipswich Town.
Speaking about Mazraoui, Amorim in a statement via BBC said that the 27-year-old is important for the future for the Red Devils.
“We don’t have too many centre-backs so we have to adapt some players. I thought Noussair Mazraoui did very well,” Amorim said.
Meanwhile, Manchester United will return to action in the UEFA Europa League come Thursday when they play Boda/Glimt.
Amorim will hope to secure his first win in the European tournament.
As of now Man Utd remain seated outside the top ten on the Premier League table.
