With the France international’s future in doubt, United may reignite their excitement for Milinkovic-Savic and the Italian club won’t stay in the 25-year-old’s way in case he wishes to leave the Stadio Olimpico.
Tare uncovered to Sky Sport Italia: ‘The player’s aching is basic. When in doubt, if a player envisions that their time is up and wants to play somewhere else, it shouldn’t be an issue.
‘Eras come to an end. Basically look at happened in Napoli this season. The truth he stayed in Rome for quite a while is because he has strong links with the city and club.
‘When there are temptations, a bit on our part, a bit on his, we never went beyond what many would consider possible. In any case, things must be overviewed at the end of the season.’
Milinkovic-Savic has been a solid in Lazio’s midfield this season, with his four goals and four assists helping closing the gap within one point of league leaders Juventus in the Serie A table.
Interested parties may draw back from the £80million dee being mentioned for the astonishing midfielder, especially with the financial uncertainty caused by the coronavirus crisis.
Borussia Dortmund wonderkid Jadon Sancho is United’s top summer target and the 20-year-old dropped a hint this week that he would like to return to Premier League.
