England and France will be going head to head in the quarter-final of the ongoing world cup in Qatar.

The Three Lions made it to the next stage in the tournament after their commanding 3-0 victory over Senegal on Sunday.

Jordan Henderson opened the scoring in the first half, finishing off Jude Bellingham’s cutback.

Gareth Southgate’s squad then doubled their lead before the interval, with Harry Kane rounding off a fine counter-attack move.

After the break, Arsenal star Bukayo Saka put the game beyond the reach of the African champions.

Also, France defeated Poland 3-1 in their round of 16 clashes.

PSG star Kylian Mbappe scored a brace, while former Chelsea star Olivier Giroud also found the back of the net for France.

While Robert Lewandowski scored a goal for Poland it was not enough to stop France, who have now moved to the next stage of the world tournament.
