Chelsea welcomed a change in management on Wednesday in the person of Thomas Tuchel following the sack of Frank Lampard on Monday.

While Lampard was sacked due to the lacked of improvement in the Blues squad, many are hopeful that Tuchel with his experience at PSG among other top clubs would be able to turn things around at Stamford Bridge.

However, things have not started on the right foot for the German international as the Blues were held down to a goalless draw by the Wolves on Wednesday night.

The German-made use of the likes of Mendy, Azpilicueta, Silva, Rudiger, Chilwell, Jorginho, Kovacic, Hudson-Odoi,Ziyech, Havertz and Giroud in his starting XI against Wolves and only made three changes (Abraham, Pulisic and Mount) during the encounter at Stamford Bridge.

However, the Wolves held them down and the Blues were unable to win all three points.

While Chelsea dominated the match, they, however, need points more than ever to be able to return to the top four on the EPL table, which is their main focus for this season.

Tuchel will hope to gain ground during the weekend match by making sure he gets his first victory for Chelsea vs. Burnley.
