Why this player might remain at Chelsea till the end of his career
Football pundit Dean Jones has reasons to believe Chelsea’s star Mason Mount will remain at the club until the end of his career.
Mount, who plays the role of an attacking midfielder for Chelsea has been at Stamford Bridge since the age of six, and Jones expects him to retire in west London.
Following a new agreement with Reece James, the reports revealed that Chelsea are now trying to get Mount to sign a new long-term deal.
According to the Evening Standard, Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly and Mount have already held talks about a contract extension.
With two years left on his current deal, Chelsea are determined to have Mount at the club for a long period.
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, Jones said: “There are not many players you could imagine staying at one club for the duration of their career, but this is probably one of the ones that you feel actually might if you can continue to build in the way that you should do.”
