A latest report has disclosed that Chelsea have gotten a replacement for Callum Hudson Odoi and Hakim Ziyech who are both on injury.

The new replacement is Tino Anjorin, who recently got the opportunity to join the first team under coach Frank Lampard.

Anjorin who is 19 years old made his full debut for the Blues in the Champions League during 1-1 draw with Krasnodar on Tuesday.

According to the terms of his records, Anjorin joined the Blues at the age of six and had only made two substitute appearances prior to his Champions League debut on Tuesday.

Lampard in a post match interview revealed why he considered the 19-year-old as a replacement for Hudson-Odoi and Ziyech.

The Blues coach said Anjorin during training last season showed a real ability to step straight into the first team in terms of his ability on the ball.

Lampard stressed that he showed it on Tuesday night in the way he received the ball and how he moved with it very quickly as well as his physical attributes to protect the ball.

“He’s had some fitness issues in terms of completing games at under-23 and youth team levels,” Lampard said.

The duo of Hudson-Odoi and Ziyech could return to the team over the weekend as their injuries are short term.
