Why Chelsea should make another move for this striker in the summer

Chelsea have been advised to make another move for their summer target Victor Osimhen.

Former Chelsea defender, Glen Johnson wants the Blues go all out and sign Osimhen next summer transfer window.

Recall that the Blues were one of the clubs who were interested in signing Osimhen but failed in their pursuit of the Nigeria star in the recent summer.

Like other clubs interested in Osimhen, the West London club were unable to meet up with Osimhen’s wage demands.

The Nigerian forward who was determined to exit Napoli instead opted to sign for Turkish Super Lig champions, Galatasaray, on a season-long loan deal.

Johnson has insisted that Chelsea should try again for the top striker.

The former Blues star was quoted by Chelsea News as saying Osimhen going on loan to Galatasaray was crazy.

He added that it would be crazy for Chelsea to not try and sign Osimhen considering the fact that he would be available.

Chelsea have improved under manager Enzo Maresca this season as against their performance under former coach Mauricio Pochettino.

A player like Osimhen in Maresca’s squad could be the key they need to fully unlocking their attack in terms of scoring goals.
