Why Arsenal can’t win a EPL title

Former Liverpool star, Jamie Carragher in a recent statement explained why Arsenal led by Mikel Arteta will not win the Premier League this season.

According to Carragher, the Gunners do not have the goalkeeper and striker to take them over the line.

Carragher made this known while speaking on Sky Sports after Mikel Arteta’s side’s undefeated run came to an end this season.

Recall that on Saturday, Newcastle won all three points against the Gunners after they sealed a controversial 1-0 victory at St James’ Park.

“Have Arsenal got a centre-forward and a goalkeeper who can win you the league? I don’t think they have.

“When you think of vital positions where teams win leagues, it’s in both boxes.”

Arsenal will hope to bounce back when they host Sevilla at Emirates Stadium in the Champions League in midweek, before taking Burnley in the Premier league on Saturday.
