What Ziyech must do to play again for Chelsea

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has revealed in a recent statement what Hakim Ziyech must do to play again for Chelsea.

Ziyech has been out of some important games for Chelsea this season as he has not featured for the Blues since their defeat vs Italian side Juventus in the UCL in September.

Tuchel, in a statement, believes that Ziyech is suffering the effects of the shoulder injury he sustained after Chelsea got the lead in the Super Cup.

The Blues manager made this known during a press conference on Friday ahead of the Blues’ Premier League clash with Norwich City on Saturday at Stamford Bridge.

“Ziyech was in the team at the beginning of the season because of his performance, and then he scored and had the injury in the Super Cup game. I felt it cost him a lot. I don’t feel him 100 per cent free with his shoulders,” Tuchel said.

The Blues coach noted that when Ziyech started the injury several times, he felt even if the player was exhibiting no pain, there was something that limited him in his movements and his freedom to turn and accelerate and decelerate.

Tuchel noted that Ziyech needs time and patience to fight his way back into the team while assuring him that he remains a key player in the Blues squad.
