West Ham vs Chelsea: Possible prediction

West Ham will play Chelsea on Saturday in the English Premier League.

The Hammers are heading to the match with the focus of having their first win in their last three outings.

Chelsea, on the other hand, would be hoping to win all three points vs West Ham to increase the difference between them and Man City, which is currently at one point.

A loss to West Ham would see the Blues drop from the top of the table.

Ahead of the London derby on Saturday, former Liverpool star Mark Lawrenson has dropped his prediction as he tipped the Blues to win the game by a 2-0 scoreline.

Chelsea were lucky to defeat Watford in their last outing in the EPL, but Lawrenson believes the Blues will face West Ham with a much-improved performance.

Providing his predictions, Lawrenson told BBC Sport, “Chelsea were fortunate to win at Watford on Wednesday, and their manager Thomas Tuchel admitted it afterward. I’m expecting a reaction from them on Saturday – and a much-improved performance – because they rarely play poorly two games in a row. West Ham 0, Chelsea 2.”

Chelsea are currently seated at the top of the league table.
