Mason Greenwood has revealed how the arrival of Edinson Cavanni have helped him as he reveals the tips he has been receiving from the veteran striker.

Greenwood stun the football world last season but has not been able to replicate the form this season but he’s determined to get back to the levels he reached during his stunning breakthrough season.

The young forward scored 17 goals last season, a new record as no teenager has ever scored more for the Old Trafford giants in a single campaign.

However, this season has been different as the 19-year-old has only managed three goals in 15 appearances but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still has much belief in him.

Speaking about how Cavanni has been able to improve his playing style ever since he joined in the summer, Greenwood noted that anyone can learn from him whether it is a young player or an older player.

He stated that Cavanni has just come to Old Trafford and set an example and he like the things he does, so he obviously pick up on the little things he does.

“I watch him in training and always have an eye on him, to see what movements he does, so I can add it to my game. So it is a big benefit that he is here at the club, I think,” Greenwood noted.
