The Italian giants have ruled out the possibility of signing in-form Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud for the moment as they are looking to bring in a younger hitman.

Oliver Giroud has been impressive in the past few weeks with the French striker convincing Frank Lampard why he has to be a regular starter in the team.

However, his future has been a subject of speculations for the past few weeks as top teams including AC Milan are monitoring his situation at Chelsea.

With Euro 2021 getting started in the next few months, Giroud is eager to play a part for his country and would not be considered if he continues being a part-time player.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s injury has exposed AC Milan’s dearth of options up front and they have drawn their last two league games in his absence, a move that have seen them being linked with Giroud.

Despite being 39, Ibrahimovic has scored ten goals in six Serie A appearances this season and at the moment bringing in a long-term replacement for him has become a priority for the club.

According to report in Italy, they have decided against considering the possibility of signing Chelsea’s Giroud as part of their plans at the moment.

The Seria A clubs are now considering some young players who are going through a tough time in their club.
