United playmaker former manager opens up on his past, insist he always had the mentality needed

Former Novara coach Giacomo Gattuso noted that the Portuguese always had the mentality to be a top player and his status is the result of his relentless pursuit of improvement.
Bruno Fernandes will be returning to Italy as a United player having played there between 2012 and 2017 before returning to Portugal after failing to impress.
With Manchester United fans across the globe banking on Fernandes to be at his best against AC Milan, Giacomo Gattuso while speaking with Italian outlet Tutto Mercato when asked whether he expected Fernandes to reach his current high levels.
Giacomo Gattuso answered by insisting that he expected it to be so high, maybe Fernandes would not have expected it, but the mentality with which the Portuguese arrived he understood he could do it.
Gattuso noted that Fernandes was a mental talent and temperamental, a boy who from day one wanted to be a professional footballer, and he tried to improve himself in every training session and that’s what he did.
The Italian added that today Fernandes is a big player at one of the biggest clubs in the world and this is as a result of someone who is not satisfied and always wants to improve.
