Ukraine star tipped to be a big star at Chelsea
Chelsea defender, Benoit Badiashile, has shared his thought about the club’s new January signing Mykhailo Mudryk.
According to Badiashile, Mudryk with the talent he has could become a big star in the near future at Stamford Bridge.
The France international also added that the Ukrainian, who joined Chelsea from Shakhtar Donetsk for an initial fee of around £61 million is a terrific player.
Chelsea saw Mudryk’s potential which made them pen an eight-and-a-half-year contract with him, this means he would remain at the club until the summer of 2031.
“He’s a terrific player, but only the future will tell us if he can turn into a big star,” Badiashile told Capital Football.
“But for sure, he has the talent to become just that.”
Mudryk has already made an impressive start at Chelsea during their game against Liverpool in the Premier League last week.
The 22-year-old, who came on as a second-half substitute was a big threat to the Liverpool defence and almost found the back of the net.
