Former England star, Rio Ferdinand, has shared his take ahead Man Utd UCL clash vs German side Bayern Munich.

According to Ferdinard, Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane will ‘have the bit between his teeth’ to score against the Red Devils when both clubs clash in Wednesday night’s Champions League.

Man United will travel to the Allianz Arena to take on Bayern as they kick start their European campaign.

The Red Devils will face England captain Kane, who moved to Bayern earlier this summer from Tottenham.

Man Utd had attempted to sign Kane in the summer but dropped interest in him at some points.

“I can’t wait. Look at the clubs. Two clubs with huge history,” Ferdinand said to TNT Sports.

“The backdrop of Harry Kane being there as well, the England captain [Kane], someone who a lot of Man Utd fans would have wanted to come and wear the United shirt.

“He’s a phenomenal player, his record speaks for itself.

“Champions League football, he’s been there, he’s produced before, he’s been to a final [in 2019] but never won it. He hasn’t got his hands on any silverware, so the bit will be between his teeth.”
