Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has reacted to his side’s defeat vs Italian side Juventus in the Uefa Champions League.

The game, which ended goalless in the first half, saw the Old Ladies score their first goal barely 11 seconds into the second half, thanks to an effort from Federico Chiesa.

Although the Blues had chances to score, they were unable to find the back of the net.

Their defeat to Juventus come barely a few days after they suffered their first defeat of the season to Man City in the Premier League.

Tuchel, in a post-match statement, has admitted to the Blues’ shortcomings that saw them lose the match.

He noted that his side was slow and were not sharp enough to win the match.

“We were so good yesterday in training, and not good enough, not free enough today,” Tuchel told BT Sport.

“I felt us slow, tired, mentally slow for decision-making. It’s a strange one to analyse, but OK.

Tuchel believes his squad didn’t start the match sharp enough, as they had the ball possession and could have scored in the first 15 minutes.
