UCL: Onana reacts to crucial save vs Copenhagen
Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has reacted to his crucial save during their Champions League faceoff against Copenhagen on Tuesday night.
Aside from Harry Maguire who scored the loan goal for the Red Devils, another player who impressed was Onana as he saved a stoppage-time penalty in dramatic fashion to help the Red Devils keep hold of all three points.
Reacting to his crucial penalty save, Onana told TNT Sports: “I’m just doing my job, the most important thing is to win against a tough team. I am happy for the victory, we did a good game and a big goal from Harry [Maguire].
“We are Manchester United. We are a big club, big players. It’s just a matter of time, now we have to continue like this. I have no doubt we will make it.”
Meanwhile, the Red Devils still have to put in a lot of effort if they want to qualify for their next Champions League knockout rounds.
Their recent win over Copenhagen has seen them climb above the Danish club into third place in Group A, one point behind Galatasaray in second and six behind group leaders Bayern Munich.
