Chelsea will face French club Lille on Wednesday night in the second leg of the Uefa Champions League.

The Blues head to the match after their win vs Newcastle United in the Premier League over the weekend.

Ahead of the match against Lille, the Blues have been handed an injury boost in Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso, who is now back in the team.

Thiago Silva is expected to return at the back, while Malang Sarr, who was in action for the Blues over the weekend, could be rested why Alonso will start.

Mateo Kovacic could start at the midfield alongside N’Golo Kante, while Hakim Ziyech will return to the right flank.

Kai Havertz, who has been impressive for the Blues, is expected to start ahead of Romelu Lukaku at the front while Christian Pulisic will return to the left flank, which means Timo Werner may not get the chance to start.

Chelsea possible starting lineup: Mendy; Silva, Christensen, Rudiger; Azpilicueta, Kante, Kovacic, Alonso; Ziyech, Havertz, Pulisic
