Chelsea will return action tonight in the Uefa Champions League when they host Malmo at Stamford Bridge.

Ahead of the match, the recent report that the Blues have been handed a huge injury boost as Chelsea defender and Germany international Antonio Rudiger returned to training following his back injury some days ago.

Recall that Rudiger picked up a back injury while on international duty with Germany national team last week.

The German defender missed the Blues 1-0 win vs Brentford over the weekend as Ben Chilwell gave the Blues the lone goal, which was enough to seal all three points.

Rudiger is expected to at least start from the bench tonight, with Chelsea heading to the match with confidence and hope of winning all three points against Malmo.

In another report, Rudiger could be on his way out of Chelsea at the end of the season over his failure to extend his current contract with the Blues.

While Chelsea are keen on keeping him, the likes of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, among others, are said to be luring him with a new wage higher than what he earns currently at Chelsea.
