Two players out: Chelsea suffer injury blow ahead of game Vs Tottenham
Chelsea will return to action tonight when they host their London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.
Ahead of the match set to take place at Stamford Bridge, the Blues have suffered an injury blow as the will be without two of their key players.
In a pre-match statement, Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino shared some bad news about the Blues’ injury.
The Blues boss revealed his side will be without defenders Thiago Silva and Axel Disasi.
This is a big blow on Chelsea as most of their key players are have already been hit hard throughout this season.
Most of them are not expected to return to action for the rest of the season.
There are speculations that Pochettino will most have to rely on the youth side, which means many of the would be getting a chance to play against a top club like Tottenham.
Unlike Chelsea, the Hotspurs are in the race to finish in the top six so as to secure a spot to play European football next season.
Chelsea are on the 9th spot on the Premier League table and don’t stands a chance of finishing in the top six.
The Blues missed playing the European league last season.
