Chelsea reportedly working on bring back Conte to Stamford Bridge

Chelsea are said to be considering a reunion with their former manager Antonio Conte who they consider as a worthy replacement for their current boss Mauricio Pochettino.

The Blues’ form this season has mount pressure on Pochettino as they currently seat at the ninth spot on the league table.

Chelsea who made it to the Carabao Cup final and FA Cup semi-final under Pochettino will be ending the season without a trophy.

Also they would be missing out achieving European qualification next season again.

Owing to the series results, there havr been doubts on if Pochettino will remain at Chelsea beyond next season even though his contract doesn’t run out until 2025.

So far there have been claims of  Chelsea owners Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital planning for a change in the dugout this summer.

Chelsea have been linked with the likes of Roberto De Zerbi and Ruben Amorim with Conte being the latest target considered as Pochettino’s alternative.

A report via La Repubblica, revealed the Blues are making an moves to secure sign Conte.

The Blues are said to have met with his agent as well.

Recall that Conte has been out of work since he left Tottenham Hotspur in March 2023.

Aside from Chelsea, he has been linked with Italian Serie A side Inter and AC Milan.
