Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has named Mason Mount as the player that is hard to leave out in his squad at Stamford Bridge.

Mount had been a key player under former coach, Frank Lampard and he has remained relevant under Tuchel, who replaced the former Derby County boss at Stamford Bridge last season.

Tuchel, in a pre-match statement ahead of Chelsea’s game vs Tottenham Hotspur, revealed he was cautious with Mount in pre-season, as he didn’t start the game against Villarreal in the UEFA Super Cup win.

But he went on to play during the EPL game against Crystal Palace.

The Blues manager revealed that sometimes the club was a bit worried, but on the other side but Mount seems to deal so good with all the minutes and all the load that he has that it is sometimes tough to leave him out.

“He looks fresh, and he comes with a smile.

“I would be more concerned if his face was straight and you feel some fatigue also mentally, but I don’t feel it,” Tuchel told Chelsea official website.
