Tuchel recounts what he did after he lost to Man Utd as PSG coach
Chelsea new manager, Thomas Tuchel has recounted what he did after he lost to Manchester United in the Uefa Champions League when he was in charge at Paris Saint Germain PSG.
He made this known ahead of Chelsea faceoff vs. Man Utd in the premier league this weekend at Stamford Bridge.
Recall that in March 2019, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s led his Man Utd side amid injuries crisis to play the Parc des Princes with 2-0 down after a first-leg home defeat.
However, the Red Devils went on to win 3-1 and qualify for the quarter-final in an unexpected turnaround.
Tuchel revealed that following the defeat he couldn’t speak to anyone for two days.
”I can be very honest after that match I was two days in a very dark place and I can tell you I was not able to speak to anybody and to think about anything else [other] than this defeat,” Tuchel said ahead of Chelsea game vs. Man Utd.
Well, Tuchel will face Solskjaer again with Chelsea in the Premier League this weekend in a match that will play a big decision on whether the Blues will finish in the top four on the premier league table.
Currently, Chelsea are seated at the fifth spot on the log table.
