Tuchel priorities before summer window closes revealed

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is keen on making some adjustments to his squad this summer before the transfer window closes.
According to transfer expert Romano Fabrizio, Tuchel wants to sign a new centre back and striker this summer.
The transfer expert said: “These are the two positions that they want to cover. They extended the contract of [Cesar] Azpilicueta, so a right-back isn’t something urgently needed now. The priorities are centre-back and central striker.”
Tuchel has ruled out the Blues signing a new midfielder despite N’Golo Kante’s injury as he stressed that they have other midfielders who can cover in.
The German in a statement on whether he would sign a new midfielder said (via 90min, “Another midfielder? We have Jorginho, N’Golo Kante, we have Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Conor Gallagher, Mateo Kovacic.
“They [Kovacic and Kante] are injured, yes, it’s a problem. But they will come back. They’ve not disappeared.”
For the defender, the Blues are working tirelessly to submit a third bid for Wesley Fofana from Leicester City.
While the Blues are hoping to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Barcelona.
