Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel is full of applause for one of his summer signing in the person of Kalidou Koulibaly.

Tuchel in a statement said Koulibaly was a ‘very, very good signing’ as he spoke on their latest victory vs Udinese 3-1 in a friendly on Friday night.

Raheem Sterling opened the scoreboard with his first goal for Chelsea, while N’Golo Kante and Mason Mount scored two other goals.

The win comes after Chelsea suffered an unexpected 4-0 defeat to Arsenal in their last friendly last week in the US.

Tuchel was also delighted to see Sterling’s creativity on show.

“Of course, he had chances, was heavily involved in other chances. It was a good performance,” the Blues boss told Chelsea media.

Koulibaly’s name was in the mouth of Chelsea fans at the game after the Senegalese completed his transfer from Napoli this summer and Tuchel was delighted to hear as he expects big things from the new centre-back.
