Transfer Report: Inter Milan to battle Barcelona for Premier League star

Inter Milan have joined Barcelona in the race to sign Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum, as per a report.

Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman as of late affirmed his advantage in the Dutchman, who he coached at international stage, ahead of the next transfer window.

Italian source Calciomercato claims that Inter Milan are setting up an offer for the New Year, with CEO Giuseppe Marotta having just made requests.

Georginio Wijnaldum is expected to be out of contract toward the end of the season and wouldn’t respond to inquiries with respect to another deal.

A similar report shows that Inter Milan are hoping to offload one of Radja Nainggolan, Christian Eriksen or Matias Vecino to reinforce their position with regards to making an offer for Georginio Wijnaldum.
