RB Leipzig boss says Chelsea bound striker Timo Werner is irreplaceable
Julian Nagelsmann has hailed Timo Werner as vital as he gets ready to lose the striker to Chelsea this summer.
Chelsea agreed a deal for the striker to move to Stamford Bridge, with the Blues paying his £54m release clause, despite the fact that the move is yet to be authoritatively affirmed.
RB Leipzig boss Nagelsmann is planning for life without the productive forward, however, which he says is no simple undertaking.
Timo Werner has scored 92 goals in 155 games for Leipzig over four seasons and his manager concedes that he may need to sign various players to replace him.
Nagelsmann says it’s impractical to replace him, you can’t replace a player like him. If Timo Werner leaves us, the primary concern is replace a striker who scored 34 goals a season.

This would be a huge work, which maybe couldn’t be fathomed by only one player. It is significant that we get a similar striker by the day’s end, that is the mind boggling thing about the point.
RB Leipzig are in Bundesliga action on Friday night as they hope to extend their unbeaten run in all competitions since February.
Timo Werner runs fast with the ball and have eyes for goals, there is just something magical about him that most players doesn’t possess.
