Transfer News: Chelsea target already decided his next move as Blues eye Frank Lampard alternatives
As the future of Frank Lampard at Chelsea continue to be under the spotlight, the Blues possible replacement for their manager has reportedly decided his next move.
Chelsea’s loss against Manchester City have seen much pressure heaped on Frank Lampard who was the highest spender during the last transfer window.
Among the managers that have been tipped as his successor is former Paris Saint-Germain coach, Thomas Tuchel who was dismissed some days ago.
Thomas Tuchel was sacked by the French team winning back-to-back Ligue 1 titles as well as guiding the club to last season’s Champions League final.
His success with Paris Saint-Germain has now seen Chelsea eyeing him as their number one target ahead of other managers.
Chelsea have now been given a huge boost as BILD reported that the 47-year-old has already decided he wants to return to management as soon as possible.
The publication also noted that he wants to take on a project in the Premier League and wouldn’t mind going to Chelsea.
Chelsea owner Roman Abrahimovic is known for dismissing coaches who fail to perform at the club and it won’t be surprising if Lampard is shown the exit door.
There could be changes at Chelsea if the Blues suffer one more major blow before the close of the January transfer window.
