Top EPL manager not leaving soon, signs new deal

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola in a recent statement spoke about his new contract with the Premier League champions.

While Guardiola’s previous deal with the Citizens was set to expire in the summer of June 2025, he has, however, now agreed new terms with the champions.

According to the reports, Guardiola’s new contract will now run until 2026, with the option for a further year.

After sealing the new deal, the Spaniard in a statement admitted he now has “a special feeling” for the club.

He stated that the feeling he has for Man City is why he is so happy to be staying for another two more seasons.

“Thank you to everyone for continuing to trust and support me,” Guardiola said.

The top manager also hoped to he can add more trophies to the ones he has already won with Man City.

According to records, Guardiola has so far won 18 major trophies, including six Premier League titles and one UEFA Champions League.

They are also one of the favourites to win the Premier League title this season and are also still stand a chances of winning the Champions League aside from other English domestic cups.
