Chelsea new manager Thomas Tuchel finally started his reign as the blues manager on Wednesday night as he welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to Stamford Bridge.

The blues put in an impressive performance but they were unable to break down a discipline team in Wolverhampton as the match ended in a goalless draw.

However, Chelsea fans will be happy with what they saw during the match as the team played a more entertaining football against Wolves that’s currently one of the most consistent teams over the past few seasons.

Thomas Tuchel might have not secured the point he wanted but he broke a couple of Premier League records during the course of adding a point to the team points in the league.

The German tactics and manager saw Chelsea had 78.9% possession and completed 820 passes.

This remains the highest tally recorded in both categories in a manager’s first Premier League game since records began in 2003-04.

Chelsea fans will be impressed with this as the former Paris Saint-Germain manager had just a training session with his team before they met Wolverhampton.

Thomas Tuchel also ensured that Chelsea’s defense line was not breached and he will be eager to continue the good job when the blues face Burnley in their next match.

Chelsea are currently placed eighth in the Premier League table but will be eager to turn things around in the next few days.
