A former manager in the premier league, Tim Sherwood, has sent a word of advice to two Chelsea players in Timo Werner and Saul Niguez.

Sherwood, in his statement, urged the duo of Werner and Niguez to start showing their worth, or they could be left out from the Blues squad.

The former Tottenham coach made this known of the West London club’s clash in the Premier League clash with Tottenham on Sunday evening.

Recall that Werner has failed to perform to expectation in terms of scoring goals since lasts season, which was why the Blues went on to sign Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan in the summer window.

Niguez, who was signed during the summer window has failed to perform in his Chelsea debut against Aston Villa last week.

Sherwood states that the two players cannot afford a slow start to their career at the Blues.

“Everyone thought that Timo Werner and Kai Havertz would be nailed on starters for Chelsea because of the German connection,” Sherwood told Premier League Productions.

Werner has been linked with moves away from Stamford Bridge and could be on his way out of the club in January.
